A proven meltdown prevention system for parents of neurodivergent children ready to feel calmer, more confident, and back in control — with optional live coaching support.

The Meltdown BreakthroughSystem That Helps You Stay RegulatedSo That You Can Manage & Prevent Meltdowns FOREVER

The PAUSE Method™ is for overwhelmed parents of children aged 5–12 who are exhausted by challenging behaviour, know traditional approaches don’t work, and are ready to understand their child on a deeper level so they can respond with calm and confidence.

This meltdown breakthrough system is for you if:

»You’re tired of walking on eggshells around your child, never knowing when the next explosion will happen

» Exhausted by behaviour that is dominating your life, you’re second guessing every decision you make, and you have no energy for anything or anybody else

» You feel out of control every time a meltdown kicks off. You shout. You threaten. You don’t recognise yourself. This wasn’t the parent you thought you’d be….. and then the guilt hits straight after.

» You KNOW things need to change and you’re READY to do whatever it takes to break this rage-guilt-repeat cycle and get your life back on track so that you can finally start enjoying being a parent - it starts right here and right now ….

What happens when parents have the right support:

“I now see things far more clearly from my son’s perspective - and I now know how to help him.”

Sarah

“Laura breaks everything down into easy steps and explains things in a way that no one ever has before. Things feel so different now.”

Catharine

“It’s helped me make lasting change for my family. I don’t dread mornings any more!”

Rebecca

I’m guessing right now ….

👉🏼 Meltdowns feel unpredictable and overwhelming
👉🏼 You second-guess how to respond in the moment
👉🏼 You’re constantly firefighting rather than preventing
👉🏼 You’re holding everything together — but it’s exhausting

You don’t want to keep ending the day feeling defeated, guilty and like you’re failing your child.

You want to understand what’s actually going on with your child (and yourself) so that you show up as the parent you want to be, and help them when they are distressed.

You want to stay calm & regulated - even when it’s hard.

You want to know what to do — and trust yourself to do it.

You’re done just surviving the meltdowns — You’re ready to feel in control of how you handle them

The PAUSE Method™ is the long term, supportive, solution you’ve been looking for.

You’ll get results faster if you apply a practical, repeatable system that actually works.

The PAUSE Method™ gives you:

✔️ A clear step-by-step framework you can rely on
✔️ Real-life application (not just theory)
✔️ Support to help you stay consistent
✔️ Guidance when things feel hard

You’re not left wondering what to do.

You’re shown — and supported — every step of the way.

I created The PAUSE Method™ after living this myself.

The guilt. The second-guessing.
The constant feeling that I should be handling it better.
The rage. The shame and embarrassment.

The loneliness that comes from feeling so misunderstood, after far too many well-meaning people suggest a sticker chart or firmer boundaries like I’d never thought of those myself!!!

I tried everything, and when I had nothing else to try the only thing I had left was rage and I hated myself for it.

What I realised — both as a parent and through years working with families —
is that it’s not about trying harder.

It’s about having the tools that work with a neurodivergent nervous system (not against it).

The PAUSE Method™ helps you get your life back on track!

This is about helping YOU so that you can help your child.

Empowering YOU to change what’s happening — step by step.

Inside The PAUSE Method™, this is what starts to change:

💫 Panic turns into calm, grounded responses
💫 Guessing turns into knowing exactly what to do
💫 Daily overwhelm turns into a sense of control and clarity

This isn’t about being a “perfect parent.”

It’s about responding in the right way, at the right time, with the right understanding.

Inside, you’ll learn to:

✔ Understand what’s driving your child’s behaviour
✔ Regulate your own responses — even in high-stress moments
✔ Reduce triggers that lead to meltdowns
✔ Set boundaries that actually work
✔ Respond in a way that supports your child and protects your energy

This isn’t another parenting course. This is the framework that changes everything.

The PAUSE Method™ is for parents who:

🤎 Are raising a neurodivergent child (autism / PDA / ADHD / sensory needs)
🤎 Feel overwhelmed by frequent or intense meltdowns
🤎 Want to understand their child — not just manage behaviour
🤎 Are ready to try a different approach
🤎 Want to feel calmer, more confident, and more in control

This is for parents who are ready for things to change.

And it’s not for you if:

⤬ You’re looking for a quick fix or instant results
⤬ You’re not open to reflecting on your own responses
⤬ You want rigid rules instead of understanding your child
⤬ You’re not ready to apply what you learn

This work is powerful — but it requires openness and consistency.

Imagine this being your normal…

Feeling calm in situations that used to overwhelm you

Understanding what your child needs — without second-guessing

Responding in a way that actually helps, not escalates

Ending the day feeling steady, not drained

A Simple Way to Reduce Meltdowns

A Simple Way to Reduce Meltdowns

I created The PAUSE Method™ to give parents a calmer, clearer way through.

I’m an educator, parent coach, and mum to neurodivergent twins and I know how heavy this can feel.

I’ve lived the screaming mornings, the shutdowns, the guilt for ‘losing it’ more often than not. I tried so hard to learn everything to be a better parent, and felt like a failure when none of it helped.

I also know this: nothing was wrong with me — and nothing was wrong with my children.
What was missing was the right understanding and the right support for all of us.

Alongside parenting my own children, I’ve spent 19+ years working in education, most recently specialising in SEN and supporting hundreds of parents and young people through their hardest moments. Over time, I began to see the same pattern again and again:

Capable, loving parents — exhausted, overwhelmed, and blaming themselves — simply because they were focussing on strategies that didn’t honour either nervous system.

That’s why I created The PAUSE Method™.

Not as another theory to overwhelm you,
but as a clear, compassionate roadmap you can rely on when things feel messy, loud, and unpredictable.

PAUSE™ gives you something steady to lean on — so you can respond with confidence instead of panic, reconnect with your child, and feel like yourself again.

You don’t need to be calmer.
You don’t need to try harder.
You just need the right support.

And I’d love to offer you that.

Still wondering if it’s right for you?
